The Lowdown: June 6

A few weeks ago, Mark from Lowdown officially asked me to be their unofficial photographer. I think it's rather entertaining because, although I love the idea, I'm not a photographer - just another kid with an iphone and a few photo editing apps. I suppose that works for the purpose though :P

And then this morning, I realised I haven't actually taken any photos, so I decided to give it a go. I'm learning though that my phone really doesn't like to focus well on bright red things, specifically flowers... Any tips?

Oh and there's also a photo of shoes, because it seemed cool at the time...

Piccolo Flat White.
Nageena potentially took this one.
I swear I took the rest though! :P

See what I mean about focussing on red?
Or maybe it's just bright colours in general...

"The Lowdown" might possibly turn into a semi-regular feature. We'll see how it goes :)

Over and out.

I honestly love your photos. It's great street photography because I can always sense the vibes behind it. I'm not sure why your camera cannot focus on the bright red but it might help to play around on Gimp or Photoshop though ;)

I would use an actual camera rather than an iPhone, but even then I don't exactly have skill in the field, and I can do better/easier hipster effects with my phone than photoshop. Point is I want to take photos with my camera! Also I'm drunk so disregard most of the things I say, maybe. I don't know have fun with it and stuff that's the main thing! :D
